Dr. Eman Abdulfatah, MBBCh, MSc, is a board-certified pathologist and Assistant Professor at University of Michigan Health in Ann Arbor. She specializes in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, with advanced subspecialty expertise in Genitourinary (GU) Pathology and Molecular Genetic Pathology. Her clinical work focuses on the diagnosis and molecular characterization of cancers, particularly those affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive organs.
Dr. Abdulfatah earned her medical degree (MBBCh) and a Master of Science (MSc) from Alexandria University in Egypt. She completed her pathology residency training at the Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University, followed by specialized fellowships in gynecologic pathology and molecular genetic pathology at the University of Michigan. Her research contributions include investigating molecular classifications of endometrial carcinoma and studying extragonadal germ cell tumors.
