Dr. Annette S. Kim is the esteemed Henry Clay Bryant Professor and Division Director of Diagnostic Genetics and Genomics in the Department of Pathology at the University of Michigan Health in Ann Arbor. A nationally and internationally recognized leader in clinical practice, education, and discovery, she has over 25 years of experience in the medical field.Â
Dr. Kim earned her MD and PhD from Harvard University in 1998. Her career includes positions at Cooper University Hospital, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. At Brigham and Women’s, she directed the Translation Biomarker Core and Heme-Molecular Lab. Dr. Kim’s research concentrates on hematolymphoid malignancies. She holds leadership roles in organizations like the Association of Molecular Pathology (AMP) and the College of American Pathologists (CAP). Her contributions have been recognized with awards such as the CAP Public Service Award and the Doris Duke Clinician Scientist Development Award. She is affiliated with University Hospital-University of Michigan.Â
